Rebecca Kimber is a Calgary-born artist, with a degree in Drawing from the Alberta College of Art & Design. Since graduating, she has enjoyed doing caricatures, commissions, and murals. Since she learned to draw before she learned to talk or read, Rebecca has an appreciation for the healing and comforting power of art. In 2018, Rebecca earned her Health Care Aide Certificate from Bow Valley College, allowing her to continue sharing her talent with others, facilitating and instructing in studios with seniors, adults and children with disabilities, and now with adults with chronic mental illness through Creative Community Living Activities in Calgary. Her passion currently lies with assisting people to tell their stories and discover themselves through art; whether through paintings, drawings, or facilitating expression.
